As the first phase of the project a complex audit of street lighting was carried out. This option allows you to determine the quantity, type and exact model of LED luminaires that should be installed instead of existing.
During the audit process we had created an interactive map of the city, that allowed us to monitor the process of lighting reconstruction. This map had proven to be an effective tool during the commissioning step.

Radio planning is carried out to determine the optimal base station installation points for organizing a LoRaWAN® network.
This process is very important and can be done only with the appropriate equipment and competence. As a result, several base stations were installed and configured throughout the city to provide an effective LoRaWAN® network coverage.

On 28 central streets of the city (total 92.5 km) old luminaires were replaced by energy-efficient LED luminaires with proper optics.
For this project the lighting manufacturer has developed a brand new CR (Control Ready) luminaire modification. This modification is specifically designed and equipped for the installation of LoRaWAN® controllers that provide a connection to the ámbiot platform.

In order to simplify a comissioning process we have developed a mobile application. The app allows to scan a controller's QR code during installation process. The scanned information about controller's serial number along with its exact location coordinates goes directly to the software platform.
As a result our customer is getting a digital copy of his facility and can be ensured that his maitenance engineers will find the right luminaire in the right place.

Lighting installation programming is the next step of the project after comissioning.
New smart luminaires are divided into groups, with each group controlled by its personal profile. Profiles can be created by anyone without extra skills due to very simple and user-friendly tool called Schedule Creator that is available in software cloud platform by default.
